DRIPPING POLITICS: Local elections

No matter what your party affiliation, one would be hard pressed to deny the excitement of this year's presidential election. But what about the local elecations? As more and more political signs litter our local roads, the Babble will take a look at those candidates that impact the Dripping Springs community. Dripping Springs resident Rep. Patrick Rose certainly gets plenty of statewide political attention for having the largest war chest of any Democrat on the November ballot with more than $800,000 at last report. But what does Rose stand for? What about his Republican opponent Matt Young of Wimberley? Over the next 2 months, we'll take a a look at the local races.
